Under minimal supervision, the Sr. Desktop/PC Support Specialist provides technical support of desktop computers, laptop and related technology. This position is expected to handle more complex or advanced technical support. Answers user PC and software questions, serves as liaison with the Information Services Department, and assists with software troubleshooting hardware and software applications. The senior technical will also provides coaching and mentoring for the other Desktop/PC Support Specialists as needed.

Must have knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and corporate email systems. An understanding of TCP/IP networking and related network services (i.e. DNS, SMTP, DHCP, etc.) is an advantage. Must have experience with installation, configuration and troubleshooting of equipment.
